Well, Hilda from Pennsylvania, it sounds like ‘someone else who isn’t as strict about the food he eats’ could possibly be an entitled brat who has never gone hungry or had to pay for his own food. My guess is that he is accustomed to the 101% chemical-laden toaster pastries that don’t have a trace of anything truly natural in them, and that’s what he wanted. If you had read the ingredients (which you indicated you had), you could probably tell by the FIRST ONE that he wouldn’t like it, because it in itself will taste like something other than air that is then fortified with fruit-flavored sugar. A waste of money, indeed. He should get a job and make his own money so you don’t have to waste yours, and then he can walk himself down to the dollar store and get the pastries his palate won’t cry about.
For a ‘healthier’ toaster pastry, I thought they were okay.

I do not work for Thrive Market, but I am a member and I purchase from there regularly. You would have to be a member to see product details or read reviews. It is mildly annoying, but memberships are no doubt what help keep the prices low and allow for sales, so I’m okay with it. If you would like to join, you can use my referral link, and we can both get $$ off! And if not, that’s okay too. 🙂
